The Process

PRE-LISTING CONSULTATION
The purpose of the pre-listing consultation is to develop a customized plan of action for staging your home. A complete walk-through of the residence will be performed to assess your home from a buyer's perspective and develop a strategy. We will define focal points and selling features to showcase. You will receive recommendations of the personal belongings and decor that should be packed and removed in order to highlight those features. A list of repair and maintenance, both interior and exterior, will be given on the spot. If necessary, the consultation includes paint recommendations to make the home appeal to the broadest range of buyers. At the end of the consultation we will determine the timeline and budget.


STAGING
Following the pre-listing consultation, it's time to put your customized plan into action. The homeowner’s existing furniture and accessories will be used in creative ways to showcase the residence and attract potential buyers. Special attention will be made to encourage proper flow and spaciousness. Distractions will be eliminated so the buyer’s attention will focus on the selling features and architectural details of each room. Our method combines design expertise and knowledge of what buyer’s want to see paired with professional home staging strategies to achieve a look that is tailored specifically to sell your home. Our staging work has been a key component of countless successful real estate transactions for over 15 years.


CURB APPEAL (WEB APPEAL)
If your exterior and online photos don't impress or intrigue it can greatly decrease the chance of potential buyers requesting viewings. Kelley Rogers Home Design will evaluate the curb appeal, exterior and landscape and make recommendations to ensure that it will make a great first impression online and in person.


FINISHING TOUCHES
Finishing touches are added to every home we stage. However, if your house is already on the market and you're not receiving the offers you desire, Kelley Rogers Home Design can provide finishing touches as a stand alone service. New accessories such as pillows and lighting can bring a room to life and engage potential buyers. These finishing touches can make a lasting impact.
